A treatment is great. A storyboard with timecode and direction notes is even better. Stick figures work — if it shows a person walking through a door, we can build from there.
References
Mood board, reference videos, or links to work that hits the tone you want. The clearer the visual direction, the faster we lock scope.
Format & deadline
TVC, OLV, music video, event visuals, branded content, documentary, tv show or a single shot. Run-time if known. Hard deadline if there is one.
